The origin of the brand name
lies in the “Fūshikaden,” written by Zeami, the founder of Noh theater.

This text explains how Noh performers move audiences
and stir their hearts.
Zeami taught that beauty is “something universal that never fades, even beyond time.”
It is a universal beauty rooted in the laws of nature and the depths of the human heart.

Our spatial design, too,
pursues precisely this “timeless beauty.”

The shakuhachi resonates,
in harmony with nature.

Representative Yasunori Tani has studied the shakuhachi since childhood,
captivated by its unique timbre.

Each note of the shakuhachi resonates with the sounds of nature,
possessing a power that speaks directly to the human heart.

The sensibilities art teaches us
are deeply rooted in our spatial design.

We prioritize harmony with nature,
creating spaces where people can find
true peace and tranquility.

Tradition and modernity interwoven,
a new beauty

The traditional Japanese aesthetic sensibilities of “wabi-sabi” and “yugen”
resonate deep within our hearts as universal beauty.

However, we do not merely seek to recreate tradition;

in harmony with contemporary sensibilities.

For example, we recreate the charm of old houses using contemporary materials,
or incorporate traditional garden designs into modern spaces.
